From September 15 to 17, Dotachem joined ICIF China 2026 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, exhibiting at Booth E6G74.
Over the three days, we met customers and partners from different markets and had many practical discussions around products, sourcing and future cooperation. Compared with simply introducing what we supply, the more useful part of the exhibition was hearing directly from visitors about what they are looking for and what matters most in their purchasing decisions.
Products Discussed at the Booth
Visitors asked about a wide range of products, especially surfactants, amines, glycols, solvents and functional additives.
Products such as Nonylphenol Ethoxylate (NPE), Lauryl Alcohol Ethoxylate (AEO), Castor Oil Ethoxylate, Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), PPG and Ethanolamines were among the topics discussed at the booth.
Some conversations focused on grade selection, while others were more about packaging, documentation, samples, delivery and supply conditions. Different customers had different priorities, which made the discussions much more specific than a standard product introduction.
More Than Product Information
Some visitors were comparing alternative materials. Others were looking for new sourcing channels or checking whether a product could fit an existing application. Our technical and business team also received questions about specifications, sample testing and export arrangements.
These conversations gave us a clearer picture of what customers are currently paying attention to in their markets.
Back from Shanghai, Follow-Up Has Started
After returning from the exhibition, the Dotachem team has already begun sorting out the discussions from ICIF China 2026 and following up on inquiries, sample requests and potential projects.
