From June 18 to 21, Dotachem exhibited at CPHI & PMEC China 2026 in Shanghai. The conversations at the booth covered more ground than we expected — visitors came with specific questions about grades, sample availability, document requirements and supply continuity, rather than just browsing product categories.
The product discussions ranged across solvents, surfactants, alcohol ethoxylates, pharmaceutical excipients and fine chemical intermediates, reflecting the range of industries represented at the show — cleaning formulations, pharmaceutical production and fine chemical manufacturing.
Pharmaceutical-related materials also drew steady interest, especially Polyethylene Glycol (PEG), Polypropylene Glycol (PPG) and USP-grade Propylene Glycol. PEG 200, PEG 300, PEG 400, PPG 400, PPG 500 and USP-grade Propylene Glycol all came up in conversations. For solvent and fine chemical intermediates, buyers were typically asking about purity, moisture content, packaging format, lead time and what documents could be provided.
These conversations helped Dotachem better understand how customers evaluate chemical raw materials before moving from inquiry to regular procurement. For customers in pharmaceutical, fine chemical and industrial formulation sectors, product selection is rarely based on price alone. Specifications, documents, samples, packaging and shipment plans all need to match the actual application and destination market.
After the exhibition, Dotachem’s export sales team has returned to the office and will continue to follow up on product inquiries, sample requests, quotations and cooperation details discussed on site.
